HES-Q

Sustainable business practices are embedded in TESS's core values and our management systems for HSE and Quality, based on ISO standards 9001, 14001, and 45001. All TESS operations adhere to these standards.

HSE in Work Processes

All our work operations and activities incorporate HSE aspects. We focus on the health and safety of ourselves and others, as well as the protection of the external environment in all our activities. Risk assessments and safety job analyses are conducted before each operation, and any unwanted incidents are reported.

Zero-Injury Philosophy

Our goal is zero injuries and minimal absenteeism. Therefore, in our daily work, we aim to prevent any form of accident or health damage and create a pleasant working environment. This is achieved through an internal control system where safety and the working environment are planned and monitored.

Customer Focus

TESS aims to keep the customer at the center. Market needs and regulatory requirements form the basis for planning and organizing TESS's operations. Planning processes guide core processes supported by auxiliary processes. Daily operations and customer interactions occur locally based on goals and budgets set by owners and top management.

TESS AS approves and follows up on key suppliers to ensure they operate in compliance with current laws, standards, and requirements. Concepts such as TESS Hose Management (THM) and Integrated Supply (IF) are managed by TESS AS. TESS Logistikk AS is the wholesaler within TESS, responsible for hose production and supply to TESS service centers. Product responsibility also lies here.

LEAN

TESS aims to be a LEAN partner. The LEAN culture will characterize TESS and is anchored in top management. Continuous improvement will eliminate waste, optimize processes, and improve quality. TESS has competent resources that provide support and guidance to line managers.

The TESS VAP philosophy is to always think "value-adding processes."

Continuous Improvement

Work on continuous improvement is based on the customer's experience of deliveries from TESS and breaches of defined requirements between stakeholders in the value chain.

Immediate actions are taken and recorded continuously, consequences are analyzed and registered. TESS uses LEAN methods in the work of continuous improvement.

Root cause analyses and corrective actions are performed at all processes and levels in the organization. The effect of corrective actions shows whether the measures taken are correct and what has been learned.

The process owner follows up on actions in their own process. Work on continuous improvement aims to provide a better customer experience and increased customer satisfaction.
