Safety
At TESS, we embrace a zero-incident philosophy. We continuously work to prevent accidents and injuries. Risk assessments and safe job analyses are conducted before every work operation, and any unwanted incidents are reported in our quality management system, QM+.
Health and Attendance
TESS has set an ambitious attendance goal of 95.5%. In 2024, the result was 93.5%. To move closer to our target, we have implemented several measures, including enhanced support and training for leaders to ensure earlier and more consistent follow-up of sick leave and preventive health efforts.
Focus on Well-Being
We strive to create an inclusive and inspiring workplace where every employee feels safe, valued, and motivated to do their best. TESS offers a variety of health-promoting benefits, such as gym membership discounts, coverage for doctor and dental visits, and private health insurance.
All regions have their own employee associations, which promote social activities and foster a strong sense of community. Organized trips and social events strengthen internal relationships and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
We conduct regular employee surveys, and the insights gained are used actively to improve the work environment and conditions.
Competence
TESS is a learning organization, ready to adapt to rapid change. We invest deliberately in training and development and prioritize internal promotion whenever possible.
With the Training Portal as our main learning platform, we ensure continuous skills development for all employees. Our internal TESS Academy manages the company’s competence program and offers a wide range of courses and training opportunities. Core competencies are reviewed at least once a year as part of management evaluations. In select areas, training is also offered to customers and partners.
Gender Balance
Historically, the industry has been characterized by a higher proportion of men, which has led to a greater representation of men in leadership roles. At TESS, we are dedicated to advancing gender equality and increasing the representation of women, particularly in leadership positions. To achieve this, we implement gender-neutral job postings and utilize inclusive imagery in our communications.
