TESS has adopted CEMAsys as its reporting tool, ensuring that all data is continuously and systematically entered into the system to maintain clear overviews and accurate reports.
Scope 1 - Direct emissions from owned equipment
Most TESS-owned electric vehicles are charged at TESS locations and are reported under Scope 2.
TESS can offer emission-free deliveries by being close to customers and using zero-emission vehicles. TESS aims to reduce emissions and its footprint to an absolute minimum.
Scope 2 - Indirect emissions from energy consumption
The results show a decrease across all companies. During the period, several energy audits and measures to reduce energy consumption have been carried out. Heat pumps have been installed, LED lighting has been adopted, and building upgrades have been made—all contributing positively to the results.
The graph does not account for geographical differences in conditions, climate, or the number of branches included in each company. TESS Vest and TESS Nord are the regions with the highest number of locations, activity, and revenue. "TESS-huset" is the group’s headquarters and includes the central warehouse and production facilities, which handle a large share of major hose deliveries.
Scope 3 - Other indirect emissions
Work on Scope 3 has been initiated, and by the end of 2025, data on Scope 3 will be collected and reported. TESS's top priority is to deliver a complete climate report based on the GHG Protocol in 2026.
