Aker Solutions at Stord has around 1,700 permanent employees, in addition to periodically over 1,000 employees at partners, suppliers and contractors who work directly into the projects at the yard. For TESS service centres at Stord and Eldøyane, the yard is of great importance. 
 
- There is a lot of activity here, primarily in connection with the construction of Johan Castberg, the decommissioning plant and then a number of other contracts are coming on an ongoing basis. It is our job to know the customer well, be at the forefront and, as much as possible, know what services and products they will need in the future," says department manager Ingunn Huseth Kvarven at TESS Stord.
